International Erasmus + project “Water”

Even during a global pandemic, students and teachers work at an international Erasmus + Water project. From the start of quarantine, all work is performed remotely. Project participants create presentations and completed work is presented during Zoom meetings.

All meetings are chaired by Janis, project manager of Vilnius Salininkai Gymnasium. The first meeting took place on November 17, 2020. Lithuania prepared a presentation on mineral water. The research on the “Research of mineral water in the Lithuania markets” was conducted and presented by Justas – a student of the 4th gymnasium grade. Later, the meeting participants discussed about pandemic situation in their countries and further activities of the project.

The second meeting took place on January 7th. It was attended by teachers and students from all partner countries.

The meeting was also joined by the principle of our gymnasium Juzef, who greeted the partners in their native language. The principle wished them all the best in 2021. Turkish students presented their research on daily water consumption. They presented not only presentations but also their own created videos. A student from Lithuania Vilius presented his slides “History of Vilnius Water Supply”. Student Gintarė collected photos of water from the members of the Lithuanian team. Received photos were put in to video and were presented during the meeting.

The next meeting is scheduled for February. Team from Martinique, France is preparing for this meeting. They are collecting the information and will present their long term projects during the meeting.

Even during the quarantine our work doesn’t stop, and we’re waiting for other meetings.
