On September 27, within framework of the Erasmus+ project ‘Water”, the gymnasium Class 10D students went to explore Preili Manor history. The Preili History and Applied Arts Museum specialists presented history of Preili Manor Complex and the Park. The students also had a chance to watch the museum exposure “Museum Stories to Latvia”.
The area of Preili Park is 41,2 ha, most of it (13 ha) is covered by the Park ponds and canals.
During the worshop “Life Begins in Water”, the students not only got to know history of the pond and canal formation and ancient legends, but also carried out various practical tasks. According to the students feedback, the most interesting part was being researchers themselves.
